America, here is another situation unknown, and has to be immediately addressed, which involves many ‘American Young Adults’, “Not Immigrants!” The U.S. Government and millions of American citizens are not taking care of their own country, including many of their own children, which is very sad! CABIRI, is launching a program, documentary, and reality show to start addressing this major problem of ‘Heroin Addiction’ that millions of American young adult, and adult’s have been subjected to, this awful fast growing epidemic! Americans for some reason or the other are over-looking the epidemic, and passing it off as just a regular drug addiction, which it’s not!
From first hand reports CABIRI, has spoken with and interacted with many of these young adults, whom are seemingly concerned about the epidemic, many of them coming from the Midwest areas and all over to get treatment in the Florida area to combat their ‘Heroin’ addictions! Many of these young adult children and adults, between the ages of 18 to 60, have realized there is a ‘Epidemic in America,’ and many of them are truly afraid, for others who do not have the opportunity to get help for the ‘Heroin Epidemic’ addiction that has infiltrated America’s younger generation.
Young adults communicated to CABIRI, the ‘Heroin Pushers’ are lacing the heroin with Fentanyl, another deadly drug, to get them even more addicted to heroin, and many of their friends have over-dosed by using this concoction. One young lady previously married to a police officer, stated she’d been housed for 6mths and relapsed only to be beaten in the streets and left to die, she stated “God” kept her alive to return for treatment for her children’s sake, that need her.
This young lady now safe and back in her transitional home undergoing the ’12 Step – 12 Traditions program’ to stay clean, bringing ‘God’ back into her life, by attending church, going to her daily therapy, and AA meetings, along with eating healthy, which is all required by the ‘Sobriety 12 Step – 12 Traditions Program.’ Although, stating she feels like her life is over now, how in the world is she going to rehabilitate back into society, without anyone judging her, for an addiction she had no control over, stating the ‘Heroin’ mixed with the substance ‘Fentanyl’ is so powerful and addictive it can kill you, and take over your life instantly. Many of them state law enforcement put them into jail to let them detox, then they get right back out and go back to the same place they were picked up from, and start right back at it again! So instead of helping them, state’s are putting them in jail, for what they are not criminals they are sick and need help, they are not criminals!
The Florida areas of Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton have 350 and more treatment centers, in West Palm Beach, Fl there are 40 or more, of these facilities, churches and treatment transitional programs, whom can’t keep up with the influx of young adults coming from all over to get proper treatment and help, most of these facilities lack the funding to assist the numerous amounts of heroin addicts coming into these Florida area’s for treatment.
This a major problem America, why is Florida the only state with this amount of treatment facilities, and transitional homes in one area! Are you kidding, what is wrong with the other state’s, don’t they care about their citizens, why do ‘Heroin Addicts’ or Alcoholics have to migrate to Florida for help? The ‘Local Governments, Planning and Zoning Departments,’ in Florida are preventing treatment center owners from opening up anymore of these much needed facilities, due to the influx of people coming to the area seeking treatment. Labeling it a bad name, and unnecessary to help young adult children, between the ages of 18 – 30, whom are seeking help! America, this is our next-generation, and they need our support. Something or someone is feeding these young adults this deadly drug, if it’s become a “Epidemic’ do American citizens, not care?
America, why doesn’t other state’s from the North to South have any of these treatment facilities, and homes to help many of these ‘Heroin Addicts’ in their state, knowingly there is a problem? Do they just want to put them in jail or hope they die? Again, a ‘Epidemic!’ Why aren’t Local law enforcement not trying to figure out who’s putting this deadly drug on the streets, and where it coming from, there has to be a source? Who is brining this drug into the United States killing off America’s next generation? These questions need to be answered, instead of shoving it under the rug!
This is very sad and disturbing and a let down to America’s next generation! America is more concerned about ‘Ebola’ and Illegal Immigrants, instead of a fast growing ‘Heroin Epidemic’ in there own country, harming Americas young adults. Many have died, including many actors, who’ve over-dosed on the same drug, and no one is doing anything about it! How ethical is this America? What is wrong with American citizens, many ‘Mothers and Fathers,’ need our help, and many of us are turning a blind eye to the situation, including the insurance companies who are refusing to pay for mental health/substance abuse victims, whom are trying to recover! Hello, there’s a ‘Epidemic!’ View below for yourself a listing of articles!
Also, In Florida Department of Children and Families are requiring the facilities to have proper licensing, to treat these young adults and adults who are undergoing PHP – Detox, IOP – In-house Patient treatment, OP – Out Patient treatment, this is not enough America. These children are in need of rehabilitation back into society, many of them had great jobs, attended college, and have caring families. America, there has to be additional services provided, education, nutrition, therapy, exercise, faith-based classes, and much more to rehabilitate America’s next generation, who’ve succumbed to a deadly addictive drug!
America the disturbing part about all of this, there are some of these young women who’ve lost their children to the courts, and now desperately fighting to get them back. Which could be a year from now due to the longevity of the 12 step treatment program. So now you have children who will be without their mother for a entire year, living with strangers, due to one mistake made by their mother, who wants to continue her college to have a better life to support her children.
Another story a young woman’s, mother is currently caring for her child while she’s in recovery, so she works to send income to try and help support her child, she understands this puts a burden on her mother, who now has to take care of her grandchild fulltime, while she recovers.
The next pregnant young lady, found sleeping on a park bench, who’s mother is also caring for her child, while she is in recovery! She’s struggling, dealing with her prior addiction and a boyfriend who’s in recovery and wants to be with her for their child’s sake, she’s young and very confused and doesn’t know how to feel, due to the ‘Heroin’ withdrawals she’s still dealing with! This is very difficult for her to deal with, she knows to be strong and it will be worth it in the end to reunite with her daughter, and family once again!
Many of these recovering young women and men come from good homes, and realize they had a uncontrollable, ‘Heroin’ addiction problem and sought treatment many states away. While recovering these young women and men, all have the courage to speak out about ‘America’s Heroin Addiction’ and are currently crying out for someone to help them. They feel America has forgotten about them, and no one cares about the ‘Heroin Epidemic’ killing off their generation in America.
America, we have to assist these young adults, this could be one of your children or soon to be one day, if nothing is done immediately to combat this “Heroin Epidemic!” CABIRI, understands many Americans budgets are strapped, we must stand up and help our children, the ‘Federal Government and State Leaders’ have known about the Epidemic and aren’t doing anything to help prevent the problem, besides putting the Next-Generation in jail giving them criminal records, which does not solve the problem!
CABIRI, “Lives 2 Cure” Program will help Improve, Create faith-based treatment facilities, transitional homes, to quickly identify patients in need of treatment and connect them with appropriate treatment, programs and facilities early on;
CABIRI, will help make rescue medications more widely available by increasing access for at-risk individuals; naloxone and provide immunity for individuals and others seeking help;
CABIRI, will expand access to and availability of effective treatment options as a key component of any strategy to combat and prevent prescription drug abuse; Educate the public to understand the treatments and proper medical programs associated to help their misuse in the first place;
CABIRI, will develop re-entry programs for young adults, to assist them in rehabilitating back into society, partner recovering addicts with Elementary Students to help spread the knowledge, about the dangers of prescription and street drugs
