How Homeless Women and Children Are Subjected To Human Trafficking
In my capacity as a certified advocate for homeless women, I find it imperative to share my perspectives and experiences regarding the dire circumstances faced by homeless women and children—a harsh reality often overlooked and marginalized, yet a truth that we must confront.
It’s disheartening to witness the contradiction between society’s words and actions concerning homeless women and children. Their suffering, it seems, does not align with the broader societal narrative. While all forms of human trafficking are undeniably horrifying, there is a conspicuous silence surrounding the larger issue, a silence perpetuated by those who profess to care.
Reflecting on the year 2015, when I faced my own adversities and experienced homelessness, I made a solemn promise to advocate for the countless homeless women I encountered during that trying period. I assured many homeless women, that once I reclaimed my life from my own medical trauma caused by the Mirena IUD, I would champion their cause.
Regrettably, it appeared that the homeless women and their children, who endured rape, molestation, trafficking, and forced drug abuse due to their circumstances, went unnoticed and uncared for by many. These atrocities transpired daily and nightly, prompting to question who genuinely cares about this pervasive trafficking problem.
In my pursuit of effortlessly making a difference, I went so far as to run for political office when the opportunity arose. Regrettably, my efforts were met with ridicule, mockery, and even blacklisting. Many asserted that homeless women were merely drug addicts beyond redemption—a gross misconception. The reasons why women find themselves homeless are multifaceted, encompassing unexpected medical traumas, abusive relationships, job loss, and the inability to afford escalating rental prices. Society often rushes to apportion blame without acknowledging the intricate web of circumstances that lead to a woman’s homelessness.
During my political campaign, my advocacy for homeless women was dismissed as lacking credibility, a deeply frustrating experience. I felt that I’d let down the many homeless women and their children who depended on me to help them escape the streets and the traffickers seeking out their next prey. Homeless women live in perpetual fear as society often perceives them and their children as unworthy of assistance.
During that campaign, I confronted leaders of the ‘Me Too movement’ about the conspicuous absence of a similar movement for homeless women and children. It appeared that only affluent women were deemed deserving of attention, while homeless women and their children remained overlooked. Prominent figures, including actresses and political leaders, disregarded my pleas to address this pressing issue.
Countless homeless women continue to be denied help, turned away by women’s organizations, political leaders, churches, non-profits and government agencies. Those who claim to care about all women and children are often conspicuously absent. These women have no recourse but to endure the looming threat of rape, molestation, trafficking, and forced drug use night after night.
It is imperative that society sees the broader picture. Personally, I relinquished my fight against a system that did not extend its care to me or to other women; ensuing chronic homelessness stemming 5-10yrs, I choose instead to focus on my own healing, recovery and stability. As you can’t save anyone unless you save yourself first!
However, I refuse to remain silent while others elevate themselves on pedestals, neglecting the needs of ‘All Women and Children.’ I will not stand idly by as millions of homeless women and children are left behind.
Many homeless women are vulnerable and susceptible targets for traffickers who exploit their precarious circumstances by offering money, shelter, food, and clothing, only to ensnare them in trafficking. Once ensnared, these homeless women have no escape route. Tragically, many of them vanish or meet grim fates due to society’s indifference to their plight.
To those who purport to support the eradication of child trafficking, I implore you to deeply consider the matter. Between 2015 and 2023, I encountered countless homeless women and their children in dire need of assistance. The question remains: who are the political leaders, government agencies, some non-profits, women’s organizations, and law firms genuinely supporting? In my experience, it often seemed that only those with deep pockets, those seeking to enhance their public image, or those chasing notoriety were willing to temporarily step in for their own personal gain.
My frustration grew as I realized I could not help the homeless women in need, and it seemed that no one else was willing to do so. In my own experience and research I was often told the resources or housing wasn’t available. It felt like a futile battle, fighting a system that had no qualms about leaving millions of homeless women and children to fend for themselves, vulnerable to trafficking on a daily basis.
Let me emphasize that this article is not intended to diminish the significance of the movie “Sound of Freedom.” It is, without a doubt, a critical film that brings attention to a pressing issue. Nevertheless, we must also remember the homeless women and children who have been left behind, those who continue to endure trafficking because they do not register on the radar of the rich and famous and are unjustly deemed unworthy of rescue.

After more than a decade of planning, Palm Beach County will open its center for the homeless today.
It is the first time that the county’s homeless have had a single place to go for shelter, medical care, job training and other social services.
Although a handful of local charities and churches have always helped the homeless with emergency shelter, meals and job training, the county has lacked a central place for the homeless to go to easily navigate those services.
Homeless advocates say the center’s opening is the culmination of a perfect set of circumstances — a county commissioner advocating the project; a partnership between the county and nonprofits working with the homeless; and $8.5 million in federal grant money. What happened to the funding, who monitors and disburses has federal funding disbursement went toward homelessness assistance? If so why has homelessness increased in the Palm Beach County area.
“Everything came together,” said Marilyn Munoz, Executive Director of the county’s Homeless Coalition.
County commissioners first talked about providing an emergency shelter for the homeless in 2001, when former Commissioner Addie Greene formed a task force to help craft the plan.
But the next year, Greene said that the shelter should no longer be the task force’s top priority, acknowledging that political pressure from other commissioners had persuaded her to change her mind. Many worried about finding a location for the facility and complained that they would simply be “warehousing” the homeless.
Greene’s decision came after the county’s director of human services issued a report in 2002 saying that building a shelter for the homeless would be “cost prohibitive.” Instead, the director said he wanted more money for social workers to provide counseling for homeless people. He also said he would pay for more room nights and motels and halfway houses for the homeless while the social workers worked to find permanent help.
“In the beginning, (county managers) sort of encouraged you not to build permanent shelters,” said Commissioner Karen Marcus, who was first elected to the board in 1984. “It was, ‘if you start building them, you are actually going to get more homeless.”
By 2005 the county had partnered with CARP, Inc., which stands for Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs, to help fund a 16-bed Homeless Residential Assessment Center at CARP’s campus in West Palm Beach.
But advocates kept pushing for a county-owned facility.
Meanwhile, an impromptu homeless shelter at Westgate Tabernacle in suburban West Palm Beach was drawing attention to the county’s growing homeless problem. The tabernacle drew the ire of county officials for opening its own shelter to house as many as 150 people a night. County officials argued that the shelter violated both fire code and zoning laws.
The tabernacle sued the county in 2007 and 2009, seeking relief from the fines. It argued that county officials had denied the homeless problem existed.
At the same time, then-Commissioner Jeff Koons was urging the commission and county administrators to address the county’s homeless problem. Working with nonprofits, he ultimately helped establish a homeless advisory board, responsible for crafting a 10-year plan to end homelessness in the county.
Koons resigned from the commission in 2010 amid an extortion scandal and was sentenced to five years’ probation but has since returned to advocating for the homeless. In an interview Thursday, he recalled urging advocates for the homeless to talk to commissioners about the county’s problem.
“I’d tell people whenever you bump into a commissioner, tell them how proud you are that they are working on homelessness,” Koons said.
The resource center became a critical piece of the 10-year plan, which was approved by the commission in 2008.
“Without Jeff Koons pushing it, I don’t know that it would have gotten this far,” Marcus said of the center. “It just became a real priority for him. He reached out to all the providers.”

• A 2011 count found there were 3,228 homeless people in Palm Beach County.
• In county schools this year, there were 1,590 students between the ages of 5 and 17 who were considered homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
• Fifty-six percent of the students in the county’s school system qualify for free or reduced-cost lunches.
• The leading causes of homelessness in the county are unemployment and lack of affordable housing, officials say.
• The county’s homeless outreach team placed 1,423 adults in emergency shelter last year.

Capacity: 60 beds, opening in three phases; 20 beds will open July 2; 20 beds will open Oct. 1; and 20 beds will open by Jan. 2. (non – existing)
Operation: Palm Beach County has contracted with three local nonprofits to run the facility and provide the social services. The county’s homeless outreach team will also be based at the center.
Lead operator: Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, responsible for overseeing the on-site interim housing and providing individual housing placement. (2013 No Services Available for homeless)
Adopt-A-Family: Will help families find services and housing. (2013 No services available)
The Lord’s Place: Will help refer people to the center and will provide employment and life skills services. (2013 No services available)

Thankfully a African woman from, ‘Zambia’ reported the same issue occurring in her country, and luckily she’s now residing in America because she realized there’s a FGM problem in the United States! Myself and many others have been speaking out about “Womens Reproductive Health ‘FGM’ attacks,” against all U.S. women, who are being ignored and going unprotected against these current attacks in America!

Petition Victory: At a summit on FGM and child marriage in London, the Obama administration announced it would conduct a major study into FGM to establish how many women are living with the consequences of FGM in the United States and how many girls are at risk. Not only that, but the administration said they would create a preliminary working group on FGM, with a mission of measuring the extent of FGM in the United States and coming up with concrete plans to tackle it.
US to conduct major study into female genital mutilation
Activists hail study, which will assess how many US women are at risk, as ‘a great success for everyone who has fought for this’ Cathy Russell, the US ambassador for global women’s issues, confirmed that the study would be carried out by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Speaking to the Guardian at a major summit on FGM and child marriage in London, Russell praised the event for highlighting the issue. “This summit is important because it brings together government, civil society and activists who care and have been working on this issue,” she said.
FGM is carried out in 29 countries, and Unicef has estimated that more than 130 million women are living with the consequences, which include heavy bleeding, infections, infertility and death during childbirth. At least 228,000 American women and girls in the US are at risk of the practice, according to previous research from the African Women’s Health Center of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, but the true number is thought to be much higher.

Thousands of women lives were altered by Bayer AG or their previous subsidiary’s Schering AG & Berlex Corporations, Their chemically toxic concoction of Yaz and Yasmin, impacted 12,050 women lives!
In the settlement negotiations the Germany based corporation caught a lucky break with the U.S. judicial system settled approx. 1,877 Yaz and Yasmin cases filed. Hypothetically speaking let’s say Bayer settled 2, 000 cases @ 212,000 per case, this still leaves 10,000 unresolved cases of women impacted by Yaz and Yasmin, which 6,000 of the 10,000 unresolved cases filed had the same side-effects and nightmares as the women with settled case.
One would have to acknowledge 10,000, is a considerably large number of women’s lives at risk who were affected by the same chemical toxin, which took 50 reported women off the earth, cited by the FDA and the remaining 2,000! Imagine with these cases filed alone, this would of Wiped out 12,050 women in the United States. Note: Both yaz and yasmin pills and Mirena Iud use a newer type of progesterone hormone called drospirenone in combination with estrogen.
Mirena vs. Yaz
Bayer AG’s Yaz, Yasmin and Mirena Iud has the same new life-threatening dangerous synthetic hormone chemical inside of it Drospireone, along with progesterone which all three birth controls contained. The cases were heard and proved in the U.S. District Court of Southern Illinois, with the approval of the Food and Drug Administration, who all reported that the synthetic (fake) hormone Drospireone is dangerous and life-threatening, causing deaths and horrific life altering side-effects, diseases, strokes, blood clots, and the list goes on. Poor Snowden didn’t realize, prior decades of demons still living want revenge for past crimes and wars, not associated With today’s society. The problem is, it’s all becoming publicly known sadly history may be repeating itself and the international dilemmas must be addressed once again by the United States American Government. There is something definitely suspicious about all the foreign U.S. business links, who own numerous United States businesses with governmental, community And international connections. Quietly foreign countries have partnered together for a United States Economical Alliance, although some countries may have shown some resilience their seems to be international economical business partnerships, in the UK, Europe, Germany, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, China, Israel, and Iraq. All of these countries have something to gain by residing or owning a Business in the United States, many own U.S. private companies and foundations Where they can carry out hidden agenda’s, and conspiracies against America. Let’s not forget being in control of all their business practices, employment, assets, financial Transactions and governmental reporting.
Many foreign companies and their counter partners have mastered the way into infiltrating all U.S. markets and winning big! Although many international countries used the American dollar and citizens over a long period of time as a huge crutch! Many Americas helped get them to their foreign countries current wealthy status. This may have Back fired on the United States now their profits and knowledge gained is being used against America and its citizens, they have too much power in our country! Why is that? Could it be political involvement to get what they want in America?
With temporary work-visa’s, company purchases, and employment (top and low profile), internationalist have been able to gain access to many U.S. markets, which has allowed them to learn more about American people, top government officials, agencies & programs, the United States judicial system, Health facilities, Biotech,Pharmaceutical, Law firms and many other important economical markets.
They’ve gained entrance into many United States colleges and programs where foreign residents with no hard work or U.S. government stipulations can enter into United State’s colleges, giving them access to Gain more lucrative knowledge to become, private United States spy intelligence citizens reporting back to their base country. Its funny too see many foreign U.S. residents residing in the United States for long periods of time and can’t speak a lick of English and use their American schooled children to translate for them, even though if you visit their home country a United States citizen must learn their Language and abide by all their countries rules and regulations. Why is it so different in America, why do we bow down to foreign countries and their citizens and feel the Desire to accommodate other countries and their families; America is in debt trillions of dollars we can’t afford anymore economical burdens.

The American Dream has been violated by many foreign nationals and their greed, which has now turned the United State’s into a pool of foreign sharks, taking away from and Hurting American households. Many countries have learned to dominate the United States gaining control over U.S. vital economical Business Markets while working with their co-Conspirators in their home countries, impacting every American life. Many foreign nationals currently reside in America and many more are illegally finding ways to sneak into the United States via highways, planes, waterways, borders. Many of them have no temporary work visas or their visa has expired and undocumented.
